“A common misunderstanding people have about anarchism is that it is NOT a human ideology, a human creation. In it’s purest form.. It is duality, the good and the bad. An application in order to balance this duality. Utopia or Dystopia. Either you have an egalitarian utopia, or you have a Fascist dictatorship. In the beginning there were no false grey lines. There was only one, and that is balance, this is the original anarchism, the state of the world before building a society with cities and everything else was even thought of. You ever hear the story of atlas? I’m going to use it as a metaphor for our current state. You see atlas is humanity, and the earth he holds up is a jar, but you see, this jar is broken, it has many fractures . To compensate for this, humanity has to stretch it’s arms further and further to hold the pieces together, but over time, the cracks get worse and worse until it can no longer be held together and the jar crashes into the void.
What we, (as atlas), never realized is that the jar fractured worse because our footing was all wrong, we had no balance.
And thus, regardless of the direction we chose, they would both lead to our extinction, rather than the happy story-book end we intended.” -Michael Ament
